Registered charitable organisations or individuals fundraising for charitable groups are eligible to apply for an in-kind donation of up to $1,000 for the hire of a Hills Shire Council venue for a fundraising event.
A refundable bond (subject to post-function inspection) will be required from the applicant.
While Council will endeavour to meet the applicant's requirements the specific venue and date offered may be at our discretion.
If the cost of the hire of the venue exceeds $1,000, the hirer will be required to either make up the difference or accept an alternative venue. Other expenses such as catering, advertising, decorations etc are at the expense of the applicant.
Successful applicants can only apply once a year and will not be eligible for other Hills Shire Council donations or grants during that 12 month period.
